Ralph Carrero has spent his entire career working to make the City of Lawrence and the surrounding community a safe place to live and raise a family. He has served as Executive Director of Lawrence Prospera since 2007 and is one of the founding board members of Lawrence Prospera and its predecessor the Lawrence Youth Commission. Ralph has also served as a founding board member of the Latino Scholarship Fund and Casa Dominicana, an Executive Board Member of the Dominican American National Roundtable, a board member of the Greater Lawrence Psychological Center, and an elected member of the Lawrence School Committee.
Prior to his current role with Lawrence Prospera, Ralph worked for 20 years at the Greater Lawrence Technical School as Dean of Discipline and Coordinator of Student Services. He has also worked as a Probation Officer for the Massachusetts Trial Court and a Program Director with the Essex County District Attorney's Office. Ralph holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherts and a Masters of Education Degree from Fitchburg State University.
